My Son's Journal 1

My Son's

My Amazing Son's

They have out done me and that's a blessing πŸ™

River was in San Marcos welding, and in two years was earning twice what I did, 14 years in corporate.

Mathis graduated early and was chasing his dream in cars out at CODA.

Both have a good head, a strong heart and blessed soulπŸ™❣️

They decided they were going to move to Moab, Utah to work with their uncle with an extreme 4x4 tour business.

The Trip-

Mathis had already driven Big Bubba, the 1991 Suburban up there. River was trying to finish his Chevy square body work truck. More projects started to come his way and was running thin. So he called his brother to come back for him.

Mathis Miles so far , about 2000.

So he came back for his brother, which warms my heart how they help each other and and need to be close working together πŸ™❣️

They spent about three days loading up - two dogs, four vehicles (two in tow) Big Bubba, Stephen the Ranger, Pepper the Dotson Z, and the Square body I'll call Frankenstein, a motorcycle, sailboat, tools and the rest of their stuff. A big load and caravan for sure.

After a lot of work, they were off.

Smooth sailing, until Santa Fe.

Riv and Stephen broke down. Mathis continued to get his load to Moab. River was on the side of the road, trying to fix his truck, for three days.

Mathis and another truck, returned, after having to fix Bubba.

Mathis Miles for his brother, about 3500.

After a couple hours of loading up Frankenstein and Stephen, they continued the still difficult trek.

They finally made it to Moab together.

Total Mathis Miles for his brother, about 4000.

When I talked to River, he sounded much more happy, and already got him a welding job. Mathis happy with his dog, brother, and working for his Uncle.

I love and proud of boys become MenπŸ™❣️
